I really wish that there were cars like in the older sims games. Sims could have a dedicated garage and need upgrade car parts to make their cars better, or have the choice to fix them themselves or call a mechanic when they break down.
I agree! I would like to fix them up and have a street racing section in the game or go on a road trip with the family.

Let's keep pushing this idea... So many simmers are baffled by the limited engine and lack of cars a decade + later!🙂
The Restoration Workshop Kit is due for release on May 1st! I'm really looking forward to this one. The teaser for the kit shows a tyre so 🤞 hopefully cars will be involved.
Debug has cars and old beaten up wrecks but they're just decorative. I'm planning on using some to create a garage but there isn't any gameplay to go with them. I really hope the new kit gives us something that allows our Sims to interact with cars, maybe do car maintenance. I'm hoping for a few cars to choose from too. I think driving them or racing them may be a bit beyond what we usually get from a kit but I'm still looking forward to seeing what's included. 🚘
If cars are introduced then I want a race track similar to this sims 3 stadium located in Aurora Skies. I don't want it to be a rabbit hole, we need to be able to fix cars, detail them and race.
You can visit this lot I believe, but it's limited gameplay unless you use cheats.
