Changing Keybindings in The Sims 4

The Sims 4 is mainly controlled with the mouse with only a few keyboard commands so there is no real reason to have a feature to change keybindings and I have never seen a request for this before.
Would it be so bad to allow players extremely basic customization?
If you're worried about people doing it accidentally, Sims 4 already has 'revert changes' in game options.
For me, managing many sims at once can get hectic. Keybinds are a HUGE help, so I don't have to constantly freeze time. Not to mention you have to manually toggle it every time.
Still, the ability to, for example, not have the 'freeze time' key be locked to 8 KEYS away from the other time controls etc. etc. would make the game way less arduous. Might even make it worth buying some DLCs to make it last longer.
