Cross-platform experience

If TS4 aims to become a live-service type of game, such as Fortnite, then it should mean saves and DLC transfer across all platforms. If you buy something in any other live service games, you'll have it on another platform. And if you complete a certain thing in game, that also transfers. I think the team has done a great job with these past events by linking rewards to the account rather than the device. However, in order to create an immersive experience with a loyal player-base, progress should be consistent across all platforms. If one was to switch platforms, for example from a console to a PC, they should not have to start over. Moreover, this change would be consistent with previous statements from EA, for example it was expressed that a fifth instalment of The Sims franchise would not be happening as players would lose years of progress. My point is that if EA wants TS4 to be this living, endless experience, then they need to commit fully,
