Come on EA!!! The Sims 4 major problem with every update :/

Everytime they update my game won't start and I have to run thru every possible way to get it to work.  Takes me days sometimes and then I play for a couple days and there is an update.  I don't use cc but I have downloaded some and even though I empty my mod folder, next thing I know they are all back.  I deleted one cloud don't know what to do but do know that if they don't stop wrecking my game I am not buying any of the expansions etc.
