Cupid's Corner creating way to many random Sims

There are already plenty of single Sims that have been created.  "Random" Sim options should not be generated until the pre-made Sims have been shown.  I have been trying for over two hours to get two Sims to match.  I'm lucky if 2 or 3 non-random Sims show up as a match (and most aren't even a match).  I have Gallery Sims turned off.  Kind of ruins story telling if you can't get the two Sims you want together to match.

@Ulfric_GrimbrandI agree. I've found that since For Rent I'm clearing townies out of Other Households every day. On console I find they cause lagging and sometimes even crashing if numbers become excessive.
I'd personally really love an option to be able to disable NPC creation.

@simsplayer818 I'm on PC, so it's not hard to edit Sims for me, it's just that playing a single Sim, trying to match a specific Sim through Cupid's Corner shouldn't take that long for them to show up. And the game doesn't need more and more game generated Sims, it generates enough the way it is.
  • @Ulfric_Grimbrand hi I'm playing it with Gallery Sims turned off too. I had an issue recently where my Sims were being turned down a lot so I edited a load of Townies to help. I went through them all again just before adding Lovestruck.

Since adding Lovestruck I've made some groups of more datable flatmates too, just to add to the dating pool.

I don't know about you (I'm on Xbox Series X) but I also get a load of random Townies generated with bizarre outfits and all accessories showing up in Cupid's Corner and on blind dates too! So I have to go back to Other Households and find them so I can edit their outfits as well as their customisation panels.
