Daycare Pack Idea for Sims 4

I love kids so I will be very happy if they add a ECE (Daycare) career in the game.

If you choose this career you can have the same missions when you go as a police officer in 

Get to work pack. But then you have to be more attentive and diligent when it comes to each of 

the children in your daycare so maybe you can start with opening for less than 10 kids so you 

can see to their every need. Missions will include; comforting a child who is crying, stopping 

fights between kids, directing bored kids who do not have anything to do to play or be with other

children who are playing, stopping children making a mess or drawing where they are not 

supposed to draw (here you have the option of suggesting a different activity for them, giving 

time outs, or just talking to them and these actions you do will have consequences for each 

children’s traits as they grow up just like in real life). You can also join kids in the art table where

you can choose to draw with them, direct them to draw something, give ideas to them and then 

they can have their artworks displayed in the room if you want it there (Yes I am an early 

childhood educator ). You can also start circle time with your kids where you will be given an option to just sit with a few kids or invite them all to sit on the carpet area.

Activities for circle time will include book reading, puppet shows, games and singing songs. And of course 

you can also start a science experiment with the children. Another thing you can do with the kids

is to open the sensory table for them where you are tasked to arrange all the materials they 

need like kinetic sand, water bin, leaves and rocks with magnifying glasses, magnets, sensory 

bottles, playdough and slime (there will be lot of mess here so get your mop and broom ready). 

There will also be an Outdoor play everyday. Here you will have the option to have nature walks

or play in the playground. Your responsibility will include checking to see if there are dangerous 

objects around the playground before the children can get to it, fixing broken toys or equipments

in the area, Inviting unhappy children to do something like play in the sandbox, join other kids 

playing, talk to them or let them ride bikes or play on the playground equipment and toys. For 

special activities you can have them do scavenger hunts. 

And lastly, during pick up time you can choose to talk to the parents or guardians of each kid 

about the child’s behavior or activities for the day, just say goodbye and send the kids home 

with their parents, or you give the families some feedback about their child. And if you have 

enough money/income, you can hire more staff so they can help you with the children’s needs 

and clean up the room and grounds as well as sending kids home with their parents. You can 

also pick new hires according to their skills or experience and their pays will be in accord with 

these. And as you get the hang of it you can up your game by letting more children in your 

daycare. I think it would be a lot of work for the creators but I think this would add more 

excitement and variety for this game.

This would only apply to preschoolers and kindergarten. i will think up more ideas for infants next time.
