Re: Deck the Palms event missing in-game and can't claim rewards

I could not receive rewards for days and missed a lot of them even though I had logged in. This is so dumb, they needed to fix it, but they didn't. 

Unless EA fixes it the only way would be if you’re a pc player to download the FOMO mod. It includes recipes and CAS items like those you’re interested in. But that’s only when mod is applied sadly. 

I'm in the same. I thought it was ending on January 16 as well. I just connected today to claim what I had left, and realized it's over. I'm in the process of moving and did not have much time to just connect... I'm so annoyed 😪

I really love the world of SpongeBob. So I tried to follow the "Deck the Palms" event (a bit late, since I only discovered it at the beginning of January). I logged in from time to time, and I managed to get several new items. But some items remained locked, like the Krabby Patty recipe or the SpongeBob hoodie that I was aiming for. On the item, the message said something like "wait until the week of the event when this item will be available." And now I realize that the event is over. I think I missed something.

I looked online, and I saw that the Krabby Patty recipe and the hoodie were available on December 26th and 27th, but I wasn't logged in those days.

I also have to admit that I haven't bought the SpongeBob pack yet, because I'm getting a new computer in two weeks, and since the pack is available until March, I was waiting to install the last few packs I was missing on my new computer.
Did I need to own the pack to get these items?

So there are some items from the "Deck the Palms" event that I missed, and I'm really frustrated about it. The game experience is so much more enjoyable when all the items are there, especially since I'd like to explore these elements further in the game.

Is there any way I can get these items (the Krabby Patty and the hoodie in particular) afterward?

I 100% agree. It also said it ends on the 13th (today) but the event is completely gone for me! I literally only had two or three more items left. :(

The event never stayed your have to login multiple time just the Jazmine Holiday has gifts for you. Its not fair for simmers and the items are really cute.

where did you find?

it hasnt work as intended. many users (myself included) have had issues with it not appearing or properly unlocking with the SIms event rules in mind.

 they patched the gallery thing 

yes very disheartening. I would log in and then right off because I don't want to play the game right now due to the nature of the event.

I had so many issues myself with the deck the palms login event. I didn’t have the time in December to do it so I started in January and multiple days had me claiming the same set of items that I claimed the day before. I’ve never had an issue with the events before this one. I got to miss out on a third of the items including the slides which I looked forward to because it made me claim items I had already claimed and there was no way of catching up to get everything. So disappointing, I used to love playing the sims. I wish with all these bugs and issues they’d extent the event or do what they did with the happy home events and make it an update for the game

I was sure it was the same event as always with tasks to complete. During the holidays I was busy like everyone here so I wasn't aware you have to log in daily. Also, I saw people saying they're only log once and were able to claim all awards while there were also people who did log daily and still weren't able to unlock everything which feels unfair. So please EA consider to extend the deadline for everyone. I know logging in shouldn't be a big deal, but not all of us have PC that handle game well so forcing players to log in just to claim the prize isn't the best idea. For some it might take a few minutes, but for others game doesn't open that fast. Besides, I'm sure EA team wants us to play the game, not just open it. And I'm pretty sure a lot of players will lose excitment to play when we can claim objects just because we missed deadline.

Please extend this event so that everyone has enough time to collect all the items! This is always the busiest time of the year for both family and work commitments, and many people don't have access to their computers. Moreover, hundreds -if not thousands- of players were not aware of the new rules applied to this event for the first time. These rules were not clear in the game, and many of us only realised in the last few days that we could not claim everything!

Please extend. I was away for the holidays and had no access to my pc.

Yeah! it was the holidays so many people including myself were away from home and their PC :( they really should extend it

That's the same thing that happened to me! I played 4 times in one week an only unlocked one set of items and got that on my screen saying next week 

I also only just learned today that this was a daily login event. I was incredibly busy over the holidays, hosting family in my home, then catching up at work after the start of the year, and I planned to play tonight to complete the quests. Thankfully I was at least able to claim the first batch of items, but it looks like I’m not going to be able to get the rest. I have wanted mittens for forever! If I had understood that all I had to do was login regularly, I would have done so, but since I assumed there would be quests, I didn’t think I had time to work on the event during the holidays. It was the worst possible time of year for me and so many others to have to login frequently. Logging in between Dec 24-28? Seriously? If I found myself ignoring my family to play the Sims on Christmas Eve, I assume the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future would visit to teach me lesson. As someone who buys all the packs and makes personal sacrifices to make the time to play the Sims frequently, to have to miss out on unique game items because I had family obligations for the holidays, I’m just beyond disappointed. Like EA is saying no, you can’t have these winter holiday items in your game because you celebrated the holiday in real life! It feels deeply unfair.  Please extend the event!

They should do what they did with the "Happy at Home" event rewards and just give them to everyone who buys (or already owns) the base game, since the event itself has been such a train wreck for many people.

I'm dealing with the same situation! I was moving at the end of December and my computer was packed up for a long time while we sorted through everything. I thought it would be like every other rewards event, but now I will be missing out for the first time during these events!

In a society of exhausted and overworked people, we dont all have time to log in daily to make sure we get everything, especially around the holidays. I spent Days preparing my house to host my family, decorating, shopping, cooking, cleaning, babysitting. They seriously need to give us a break and just Extend The Event 💯💯💯

Begging you to extend this event for even just a few days. Every other event you could catch up on the very last day of the event and still get everything. The fact that you have to sign in every single day starting at the earliest 9 days before the event ends to get everything is just crazy. I have every single item ever released for this game through DLC, live events, random collab items like with the sims mobile, early purchase bonuses, everything except now I'll be missing a handful of these items because the event was hosted during the absolute busiest time of the year for people.

And no, "it going into January" doesn't mean it's accessible for people because the holidays don't just magically end January 1st for everyone. People are still traveling and celebrating later than the new year. The fact we can't catch up on the last day like every other event is just downright awful.

My issue is that the email I recieved for the event said to log in weekly not daily so that's what I've been doing. December was a madhouse for me this year so I didn't have much time to play. If the email had said to log in daily I would have found five minutes to open the game. Even so some of my log ins don't seem to count even when they are more than 24 hours apart . I really hope they extend the event for another week or offer up a set of tasks to complete the collection.

I also will not be able to claim all the rewards.  This is one of the busiest times of the year for me at work, and including the holidays, family and IRL activities this time of year, I wasn't able to log in (for the first time) until Friday 1/9/26.  As long as I log in every day until the 13th, I'll still miss out on the last nine items, unless the event expires before I have an opportunity to log in Tuesday 1/13/26.  If that becomes the case, I'll miss out on more than 9 of the last items in the list.  (Really wanted a chance to get that 'Serious Business Ticket Machine')

Please extend the event.. it wasn't even commiunicated the type of event it is.
