Disappointed

I've grown up playing The Sims and have always loved it. Sims 2 being my first true love out of them all, but as I've gotten older, I have enjoyed Sims 4 and everything that I could do with it. I always struggled to stick with a legacy challenge, but over the past 2 years I have had this one family that I love playing with! I have put so much time into this save. I put so much care into the photos with this family throughout the years I have played with them. If there is one thing I was proud of the most with this save, it was the photos that I had on the walls and the time I put into that. It told the story of the family I had spent years with.

I know with this last update everyone was disappointed with their photos coming out black. My heart dropped when I saw this, and I immediately checked my game. Fortunately, I was safe for a few weeks or so I thought. I loaded into my game this morning and it was acting weird. It was not letting me load into my family, it kept trying to load up other saves that I had. When I say that I am only invested in this one save because I love this family so much, I mean it. I deleted every other save that I had forcing the game to let me load into my legacy family. Once I got into it, I noticed all the photos were black. I looked up ways to fix this with no advice other than to load up an old save of this family and take the photos from there. But at that point there was nothing. I had deleted every old save due to the issues I had getting into the game. 

I shouldn't have to go through all this trouble to save my games. The number of bugs and issues this game has is unreal. I write this to say that I will not be investing anymore time or money into the sims franchise ever again. I could be dramatic, but the people that play this and know the emotional debt you put into it know how I feel. I am tired of losing the time I play with nothing to show once an update comes out.
