envisioning a new sim bustin out approach style game for sims

yes you read the title right

Hello im a dude that grew up luckily having the ability to get to experience the sims bustin out at a early a appropriate age on ps2 growing up. i was always into the atmosphere the game articulated. i was always fascinated with the music and building deleted some of the npc houses then building my on summer breaks and what not thanks EA for all the stuff that goes and what happened in past you guys really gave me a cool game back in the day which i really digged so who ever made that game rocks.

so im just gonna suggest someone hear me out

id like to suggest you guys get back somehow to that format for consoles (doesnt have to be limited to) and make a good sims game controller specific if needed be, for the aesthetic. but i can just say now the music alone in but of course be wise when enhancing features because of new possibiltys with tech i guess. the old school goals missions where cool some i feel i couldnt do with out cheats today lol

bustin outs music was inspiring itself on how its funky and jamming the whole atmosphere i miss those days id blast the volume lol, maybe i can suggest just one song i made on propellerhead Reason 11 (thanks if anyone checks it really lol less than about a minute)its a song from a DAW i have

yea so in other words if someone can suggest to me how i can suggest this to  sims devs lets suggest it

illl have to upload the link to the music to my soundcloud becuase i dont think i can share the music link here it down below is the SoundCloud link im italcollie

let me know what you think

  • @IG-hateyhate I loved Bustin Out. Loved it. It was my favourite Sims game until now (and that's only because I finally have horses). I played it on PlayStation. I loved the aspect of moving to different households to complete tasks and then move on. There was a similar thing in Sims 2 that I didn't think was anywhere near as good. In fact Sims 2 was a bit flat after Bustin Out for me.

I loved the pottery wheel and my weapon of choice for disposing of annoying Sims...rocket gnomes! (Rocket gnome + annoying Sim + enclosed space = boom)

I loved giving all the households a glow up. I left Dudley's trailer looking awesome if I do say so myself. I miss Dudley! I don't miss tidying up after him though because he was a bit of a slob bless his heart.

It was an awesome game, I wish they'd re-release it on console download as I'd love to play it again. Plus it had a cool parrot and it had cool cars although I did not like the limo with the hot tub in it! 🦜

hey im glad to hear your love for this game as is resonates with how i felt . i really hope something happens and this concept of a mission based sims is not left behind! for real i loved the music alone lol but it only complimented everything else evenly not many games take that and full bases loaded home run sends it home i feel

in fact to what i mentioned last there the correlation i see between older games being able to deliver on id say over all fun programming is the limitations they were faced with lol

@IG-hateyhate I seemed to remember a diving board but couldn't remember which game it was!
I also liked the music. I remember the one that was always on in Dudleys trailer that I liked best I think it was hip hop.
My Sim used to go back to her mother's house regularly to build more rooms for her mother when she earned more money. So her mother ended up with a nicer house and a pool or a hot tub.
My favourite build item was the floor to ceiling fish tanks. The heart shaped bed was added to the Basement Treasures kit as a broken clutter item. I hoped it might be an indicator of more bustin out items on the way.
The only thing I didn't like was that once she reached Malcolms mansion, kids were taken off to boarding school or military school after a few days. So she couldn't raise a family there.

i imagine a game where time is valuable like in all the sims games i played bustn out and sims 2 pc, luckily my sister was able to aquire sims 2 pc a some years after like me having been sold to the bustin out experience alone, i see as of always that the game should have goals but maybe set a limited time to achieve that sims obv , cuase lets not forget some of us got eatin by a man eating plant for instance...

i invision a wacky breathable take on modern life but synthesized with a outcome thats top down again and feel again sort of limitation hard ware wise , we keep the over all air and kindess of the textures and how they make us feel at home the lighting and the over all darkess how they balance, when i say kindness there where multiple things to customize in clothing alone that felt that meet any persons say preference with color choices, why stop there alot of things from this game can just be expanded on say multiple colors of different house furnishings and appliances

where to even begin with such a glorious ol game

from playing it in recent days ive noticed major difficulty juggling multiple relations and fell pray to cheat code fill apseration. so maybe things can be balanced
