Event Based Gardening - A Public Relations Solution

Speaking of botched gardening, I found out today the hard way that: A lily grafted to a snapdragon (and vice versa) does not give an orchid. It gives dragon fruit. How do we deal with that during the event? I wish I could screenshot it but the only way to see what a plant is growing is by the little box that pops up, but that doesn't show up in a screenshot because you can't mouse over it to see it.
