Expanded Family Tree

I think the sims 4 growing together pack should have included an overhaul of the family tree system. The appearance of it alone is outdated, but the dynamics of family are FAR to simplified for how much the game has advanced. I want in-laws, great grandparents, aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, cousins, do we even have grandparents?? it’s one thing to not go as far as in-laws, but to not even AT LEAST have her sisters daughter be her niece?? makes no sense.

    Yes I would love for them to acknowledge in laws and second cousins as cousin and so forth.

    I'd also like the ability to set existing sims from out of the household as family members in live mode, maybe with an interaction like: "Reveal being related as..." or "Set as family member".
