Expansion Pack Idea: Driving School & Cars 🚗
Hi everyone!
I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, and I would LOVE to see a driving and cars expansion in The Sims 4.
I know cars have been requested for years, but I’d love them to be more than just decorative objects. Getting a driver’s license is such a big milestone in real life, and I think it could add so much to gameplay and storytelling.
Here are some ideas:
Driving School
- Teen Sims can sign up for driving lessons.
- They have to pass a theory test and a driving test.
- They might fail the first time and have to try again.
- After passing, they receive a driver’s license.
Family Gameplay
One thing I’d really love is parents teaching their teens how to drive. Imagine going out for a driving lesson together, celebrating when they pass their test, or even buying them their first car. I think those little moments would make family gameplay feel much more special.
Cars
I’d love to see different types of cars:
- Cheap used cars
- Family cars
- SUVs
- Electric cars
- Sports cars
- Luxury cars
It would also be fun if we could customize them with different colors, wheels, and small upgrades.
Everyday Gameplay
Instead of Sims disappearing instantly, they could actually get into their cars before leaving for work, school, or university. Garages could finally have a real purpose.
Things like refueling, charging electric cars, washing the car, or doing basic maintenance would also be fun without becoming too complicated.
New Careers
This could even introduce careers like:
- Mechanic
- Driving Instructor
- Taxi Driver
- Delivery Driver
- Car Dealer
Optional Luxury Cars Pack
I’d also love a separate pack with high-end cars and more customization for players who enjoy luxury gameplay.
I honestly think this kind of expansion would fit perfectly into The Sims 4. It would create so many new family moments, give garages an actual purpose, and make everyday life feel a little more realistic.
I’d definitely buy this expansion on day one. I really hope something like this is possible in the future!
