I wish to wipe my posts entirely off of the EA Forums (I tried to contact EA Support to do this for me but they apparently couldn't).. I am in the process of trying to get my EA Forums account deleted as well (with all of my posts wiped as well). Expansion game pack idea!!
Expansion Pack Idea: Regency Romance for The Sims 4 Hello Simmers! I would love to suggest a Regency-era inspired expansion pack for The Sims 4 inspired by the romance, fashion, and social drama seen in Bridgerton. The Sims has explored historical themes before with The Sims Medieval, and bringing a Regency world to Sims 4 would create a completely new storytelling experience. 🌍 New World A Regency-inspired world based on 1800s England with areas inspired by: • London high society • Scottish countryside estates • Royal gardens and promenades • Grand manor homes and ballrooms 💎 New Aspirations • Queen’s Diamond of the Season – Become the most admired debutante. • Find a Love Match – Secure a romance-based marriage. • Become a Viscount – Rise in status and manage a noble household. • Society Scandal Writer – Spread rumors and influence social reputation. 🎭 New Gameplay Systems • Debutante balls and royal social events • Courtship mechanics (letters, chaperones, secret meetings) • Family reputation and social class influence • Arranged marriage and strategic matchmaking • Social scandals that impact reputation 👗 Create-A-Sim • Regency gowns and empire waist dresses • Tailcoats, waistcoats, gloves, and fans • Period hairstyles and accessories 🏛 Build/Buy Mode • Regency architecture and manor estates • Ballrooms and formal gardens • Carriages and tea parlors The popularity of historical romance shows like Bridgerton shows there is a huge audience for this theme. A Regency expansion would allow players to tell dramatic love stories, social rivalries, and family legacy gameplay in a completely new way. I truly believe something like “Regency Romance” could become one of the most beloved expansions for The Sims 4. Would anyone else love to see something like this added to the game?
Wishing the Instruments sounded different
I have been playing Sims 4 for about 8 years now and have always wished that the instruments had different tones and sounds. For example, all the guitars have an acoustic sound even though they look electric. The same goes for the pianos; they all sound the same. I just think it would be so much more immersive and fun if they had different sounds! Also, an expanded playable song list would be cool, too. I have had musician sims in the past and always wished there was more incentive to collect the different instruments. Not to mention the option for sims to play together or create bands! I would be over the moon to buy a game pack or expansion pack that added those features. Though the different sounds for the instruments should be in the base game. Side note, more instruments would also be amazing! Maybe brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, etc.), wind instruments (flute, claranet), more string instruments (harp, cello, etc.) , and percussion instruments (drums, bongos, etc.) just to name a few! I think it would be awesome to be able to create an actual afterschool orchestra or famous rock band. Hopeful for the future if this becomes a possibility!
Calendar Update? Okay...The festivals & notifications...not okay...
I'm once again sending this out there in the world. I'm ready to petition and pitch this. Those who have multiple packs stacked up will get where I'm coming from. Due to the sheer amount of these packs such as Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, High School Years, Life & Death, and City Living...and maybe one or two I missed. I get notifications are cool to prompt to go to festivals, but not with all gameplays. Right now, I'm working to the top in the royalty chain with a nosy brother, and an unexpected jealous sister who will soon be outcast from the dynasty. I'd like to add that was a fun unexpected note the game slid in, she was becoming jealous of her sisters leadership...but,,,no room for that, so no tainted blood. Toodles... Through my mental story that the game aided it to become, what really breaks the fun out of it is all the notifications for these festivals and events. Really. No, I don't want to go to The Festival of Snow. No, I don't want to go to Afterlife Anonymous, No I don't want to go to Prom because my sim is a young adult. Don't get me started on the football one. It scares the hell out of me when the music plays. With all the packs that are now laid out, not every single gameplay I want to focus on these festivals. My main sim woman doesn't have kids so no to all youth festivals. I can't even see any of my Dynasty Sims touching dirt or an animal for Cottage Living. The sounds and notifications are ridiculous and stack up my notification wall alone when it comes every 5 minutes. If EA wants to update something, then update the calendar...pronto. Allow players to turn off notifications to their choosing such as how we can isolate Fae & werewolves in their designated world. (an update with vampires being designated to their world would be nice to.) Allow us to choose which ones we want or don't want on the calendar. Or...allow players to turn off notifications all together. It is such a break in the actual fun sometimes, where the festivals become such an annoyance that I have to turn off the game. I understand there is a mod that will remove everything from the calendar and add when you want too, frankly I have tried it and am very close to kicking it back into my mods folder because right now I don't want to attend any festivals. I hope other players agree, and I hope EA can get to the core of this to give players freedom to play how they want instead of placing a chokehold on these notifications to attend festivals. Cupids Corner is another. Sometimes the first thing I do in a save file when I don't want to use the social media is deactivate Social Bunny & Cupids Corner. Which that one is fine. Like with my Occult save file, I tend to use the phone as less as possible aside from travelling and/or ordering food. At the moment, Social Bunny is good to raise up friendships with multiple sims without having to visit them to get my dynasty girl in with the dynasties...errr.....become 'friends'.... 😇 The calendar needs to be reworked, or something has to be done with all these festivals. I, alone am going to go absolutely insane. The Pit Beast seems like a tempting alternative to jump into than deal with these festivals.Divine & Mischief: Angels, Little Devils & Deities Pack”
I would like to propose a new religious expansion pack for The Sims, designed to integrate seamlessly with Get Famous and Life and Death. Main features of the pack: Introduction of new deities and religious figures from various traditions: Jesus, God, Buddha, Allah, and other iconic figures. New sacred locations: churches, temples, and spiritual spaces for Sims to visit. Two new occult Sims: the Angel and the Little Devil, with unique careers and powers: The Angel can heal Sims, cure diseases, make Sims feel better, bring ghosts back to life, help plants grow or revive dead plants, and carry emotional burdens to improve other Sims’ well-being. The Little Devil has opposite powers, creating chaos, harming Sims, or negatively influencing them. Gradual evolution: the Angel can become divine figures like Jesus, while the Little Devil can evolve into a powerful entity like Satan. New traits related to spirituality, morality, and ethical behavior, compatible with the reputation system in Get Famous (good vs evil). Opportunities for religious careers: become priests, spiritual leaders, or divine figures. New religious holidays, such as Easter, integrated with the Seasons pack. Integration with Life and Death: deceased Sims can be guided or welcomed by divine figures. I grew up playing Sims 1 it is my favourite version of the sims. I just loved it. But due to school I have a mac, and can only play Sims 4. I also do love the Sims 4. But i think it would be an amazing idea if there were to be a game expansion in the sims 4 that mimics the sims 1. For example adding things to the game such as the Tragic Clown when sims are sad and things for extra challenges such as kids being taken to military school if failing or not attending school. Just adding things from the original game that being back that nostalgic and crazy feel. Also adding old outfits, house items, my favourites being the wavy dining tables and standing piano. Also the twisted stairs that aren't impossible to make. I tried to message EA and they told me to go here so lets try and make them see this please!
