Re: 💡 Ideas > THINGS we want to see in The Sims 4 !!!

I would like to see more expansions like sports like basketball and football or soccer and boxing, and see if having a cars expansion where cars could be drivable like we had in sims 3 and more of an open world like sims 3 brought into sims 4 and into the future being brought back, more onsite jobs, more business also more content for sims like clothes and hair more tattoos more shoes and an expansion for sims having pre teens added to the age feature. Also would it be kind of cool if sims had an online feature where players could interact with real life people playing as sims and having an mic where players could replace the voices for their sims.

There was a recent article/interview where a dev discussed that the team was not interested in doing open world in a sims title again. They see the new Paralives game as a Sims 3 competitor, so are not concerned. They mentioned something about how it the corruption it causes much is faster, than the current way Sims 4 operates. While I do not care if cars are introduced, they could go the Sims 2 or even Sims 1 route and have it make some sense.

Much of what you are asking for with tattoos and businesses is already covered with the Businesses and Hobbies ep. Get to Work also has a different business system. Basketball is in the City Living ep. Soccer is in the Discover University ep. American football is in the High School Years ep. There is a boxing thing in base game and the sparring action is part of the Strangerville gp.

It would be difficult to implement your mic idea, as the sims only speak in Similish, not any real-world language. Are you learning Similish to do all the voice overs? Preteen is a stickler for some players, personally I can simulate it by paying attention to the lifespan and doing already available gameplay in the last half of the kids stage plus the first third of the teen stage.
