With the implementation of spellcasters, werewolves, vampires, mermaids etc, i really love fairies and folklore, and since they were also in the sims 3, i feel like this would be a great addition to the sims 4 as an occult for people like me who love occults! I have lots of ideas!
General Concepts:
- Fairies could have different paths they could go down (light and dark) like vampires and werewolves
- A skill tree that features many different powers and possible weaknesses similar to vampires and werewolves
Wings could be diverse, ranging from Tinkerbell-style wings to butterfly, moth, or dragonfly-like wings and being able to choose the colour like the mermaid tails
Ears could be pointy, and have special eye colours or forms for only fairies
- Potentially different kinds of fairies with their own specific set of skills
- Incorporate visual effects like sparkles, glows, and auras
- Choose default flying or default walking as travelling style similar to the sims 3 (hovering)
- Fairy Lore (similar to vampire lore)
- Unique Aspirations and traits
Powers/Abilities:
- perform spells to nurture plants, change the weather, or create natural phenomena that influence gameplay and the environment, similar to sims 3. These could also be subjective to whether they choose a light/dark path.
- Tricks similar to spellcasters (transfiguration, repairing, cleaning, plants growing ofc)
- Being able to cast auras, affecting moodlets to benefit themselves and others
- Ability to heal plants and animals, restoring their health and vigor. This ability could also extend to other Sims, providing temporary buffs to their moods or well-being.
- Bestowing flight upon non occult sims (similar to sims3)
- Animal communication?
- Fairies could summon animals to assist them much like the familiars that spellcasters have.
- Cant fly in rain? (inspiration from tinkerbell), having a negative moodlet
Worlds:
- Could have 2 new worlds; one that is sort of based on irish/celtic aesthetics (as fairies are celtic folklore) or foresty, and then a special world like in realm of magic that is like a woodland enchanted grove / pixie hollow
- Fairy Houses within the special world
- Introduce community lots like fairy taverns or magical marketplaces where players can interact with other Sims and trade magical items in the special world
- Fairy statues or shrines that grant blessings or temporary buffs to Sims (like in sims 3)
These are only ideas and suggestions, PLS EA IM BEGGING!!
Why fairies are a must in The Sims 4
Introduction Fairies are a fantastic and versatile concept that could be perfectly integrated into The Sims 4. These magical creatures not only offer creative gameplay, but could also make dreams come true for many players who have always dreamed of a magical world full of magic and possibilities. Inspiration from childhood memories As a child, I grew up with iconic series like Winx Club and W.I.T.C.H. raised by Kandrakar. These shows created an unforgettable magical world that continues to delight many fans to this day. Unfortunately, there is currently no game that adequately represents fairies. The Sims 4 has the perfect platform to fill this gap and give us the opportunity to live as a fairy ourselves and experience magical adventures.
Why fairies are important in the game Fairies as playable creatures: – Fairies, like werewolves, vampires or mermaids, should have their own form that they can transform into and hide again. – Not only would this look great visually, but it would also offer new gameplay possibilities. Diversity and Representation: – There are hardly any games that depict male fairies. Male fairies in The Sims 4 would be a welcome addition and would expand the range of representation. Magical Abilities: Fairies could have unique powers like: – Minimize (make yourself or objects smaller). – Heal and give blessings to other Sims. – Nature magic to take care of the garden and make plants grow faster. – Fly and levitate objects, which could add a new dimension to the game. – Incredible powers such as shapeshifting, wish granting, protection spells, teleportation and invisibility that add variety to the gameplay. Interaction with other occults: – Fairies could have the ability to fight other occults such as vampires, werewolves or wizards. This would bring new dynamics and exciting challenges into play.
a magical world for fairies Remote fairy landscape: – The fairies could live in a medieval world far away from modern civilization. This world would be full of nature, magic and small villages. Secret fairy world: – As with wizards, there could be a secret fairy world integrated into heaven or another paradise. – This world could consist of floating islands accessible via magical portals. Unique architecture and surroundings: – The fairy world could be populated by beautiful, shimmering buildings, glowing plants and magical animals. It would bring a completely new atmosphere into the game. – Another great option would be for fairies to live on or in a large magical tree. Here they could take care of insects or small magical animals, which would make the game even more lively.

I hope they can introduce this occult to the game someday.😔🙂👀

Yes, fairies are needed in the game. They can help with the garden, become familiar with witches and warlocks, bring good luck to any sims, and stop the Grim from killing someone. They can communicate with bees so they will not sting. Fairy has at least five types: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Water, and Flower Power. Their singing can calm a werewolf. They can create different drinks made from honey to boost energy and moral. They can grant eternal beauty and eternal life.

Oh! That's a cool one! If you look down I made a comment on a whole supernatural pack that expands all the occults and make them more cross compatible.

I greatly question the concept of the Sims 4 having the "perfect platform" for fairy representation, unless you (as the player) are very flexible and understand just how limited the Sims 4 really is.
Truthfully, I believe one of the biggest problems the developers likely have in regards to bringing fairies to the game is the fact that a lot of the abilities they could or would develop have already been done... some things repeatedly.
I have no idea how easy or hard a task it would be for the team to make it so fairies can minimalize things, but I think if they did, the items would probably have to be very limited - like objects that are only decorative. The minimalizing of a Sim would also be very limited, considering all Sims of humanoid shape are required to be the same height for physical interactions to work smoothly. At best the Fairy Sim would probably be able to minimize themselves, but not really be playable. So if you are fine with your fairy Sim going poof and appear as a sparkly sphere of light to go into a specially object (dollhouse, cute garden sculpture, tiny "fairy house" - kind of like a bird house) to do a rabbit hole action (like sleep, eat, party, use the restroom...) I do not really see them being able to produce something better than that.
Healing could be interesting, but by what means? Ghosts and Spellcasters have abilities that are like healing in terms of helping other Sims with needs, so that wouldn't really be unique or new...
Blessings sounds cool (and curses?) Those already exist in certain ways as well when it comes to Ghosts, Spellcasters, mystical wells and the treasure chests from Jungle Adventure.
Nature magic sounds like a rehash of the Green Thumb reward trait, the Great Soil lot perk, the Micro Home perk from Tiny Living, the Spellcasters Floralial and Herbio spells, Patchy from Seasons, the extra help you can get from birds, rabbits and chickens in Cottage Living... and even with those perks your plants will still turn into dirt piles.
Fly and levitate objects... Fairies being able to fly in the Sims 4 would likely be them levitating above the ground like Ghosts or Servos, turning into a smaller form and shooting up into the sky like Vampires. Levitating objects would likely only be a parlor trick that resembles an object being used for spectral whoo-hoo or slumber. "Flying" an object would likely be similar to teleporting, but the ability would be new to the game and could be useful depending on what can actually be moved.
I doubt the Sims 4 would be able to grant a Fairy Sim that ability to shapeshift much of anything. On a Fairy Sim it would probably be like how Aliens, Vampires, Mermaids and Werewolves have two appearances or forms. On other Sims, it would probably be like a rehash of a Spellcaster using Morphiate or Strangeify.
Wish granting might be a new thing, but I just keep thinking of the Wishing Well from Romantic Garden Stuff... so how that would play out is questionable...
Protection spells could be a new thing and be sort of opposite of the recent "Chased by Death" trait. Or they could be not much different from spending aspiration points from the Rewards Store.
Teleportation wouldn't be unique or new. You can teleport your Sim in just Base Game. You can have your Sim level their wellness skill in Spa Day to teleport. Vampires use Mist Form. Spellcasters can Transportalate. Werewolves can dig tunnels.
Invisibility would certainly be new... but kind of weird since Ghosts don't even go invisible...
So... I don't see a lot of unique in terms of powers... 🤔 and the presentation would likely be very similar to how previous packs have done them if not something as visually lackluster as a Spellcaster using Dedeathify on a Ghost Sim.
Fairies being able to fight other occults would make them pretty OP, wouldn't it? Because none of the other occults can really fight other occults. They can only really fight their own kind due to a man-to-man sort of way. "Oh, you don't have this occult ability/power? I can only fight you on a human Sim level, then. Put up your dukes!" (But man, it would be pretty cool if an occult Sim could fight another occult Sim via their own unique and special abilities.)
The world suggested... It sounds like it would either be as limited as Realm of Magic or at best like how Life & Death is. One world would be livable (your Sim can reside there) but also limited to a degree for the sake of lots and the other one would be limited in it not being a place your Sim can reside in and having very little of the actual world to interact with. The insects and animals would likely be as interactive as bees from Seasons, rodents from My First Pet Stuff, insects from Eco Lifestyle, mini sheep, mini goats, chickens, cows and llamas from Country Living and crows from Life & Death are.
So, new and unique gameplay doesn't sound likely to me. New and beautiful world? Yeah. CAS that can make a Sim look like a Fairy? Yes. (Would their wings even flutter, though?) New build/buy that hopefully has a good take on the magical? Promising. New and unique gameplay? Err... maybe one or two new things?
I feel fairly sure a Fairies pack will come out some day, but I'm not expecting anything particularly new or unique from it. A "perfect platform" for a game with fairies would have to start with the intention of various occults with truly unique and different abilities as well as carefully planned out interactions for various statures, builds and abilities, and lore from the start.- K-bobster8 months agoSeasoned Hotshot
it wouldn't be new ideas, but in a new aesthetic. But I still think it will be fun. I hope they come up with a whole Occult expansion pack that ties in all the other packs with occults and make them work together.
- Player_jp5s5eav8 months agoSeasoned Ace
Truthfully, before my brain imploded I had thought that perhaps what is needed is a spin-off that focuses on occults. As said, the current platform is built on the severely lacking foundation built back in 2014. Since then, the game has constantly been trying to fix the foundation while still building upon it, thus an incredibly buggy game that is slowly breaking upon itself the more it builds. Anyway, as for that spin-off idea...
"The Sims: Occults"
It would sort of be like how "The Sims: Medieval" is a spin-off game, but it would not be limited to such gameplay or mechanics. The Sims: Occults would start as a Base Game that has all the current Occults, but not in their "fully" playable forms - they would be limited like how Mermaids and Aliens are now. Regular Human Sims will still be about, but they show up far less - just like how Occults aren't all over the place in the current Sims 4 Base Game. There would need to be tweaks and fixes from the current platform we know from the current Sims4, though - like certain Occults being certain statures and having additional features like tails and wings.
You want a fully playable Occult? That is where the Expansion Packs play in. Each Expansion Pack is dedicated to maybe two Occults. In those packs come the skill tree systems, actual cross Occult interactions, needs that are more unique and specific to their occult, lots that pertain to specified occults, etc. You get to really explore the Occult to its full potential.
Game Packs mean while would allow more situational gameplay where things could get quite complicated... I think one would be a pack that would focus on Occult relations. How do the Occults *really* exist with one another? This is where a lot of planning would have to take place on each Occults' strengths and weaknesses as well as finding a balance of them. Sort of a "rock, paper, scissors" sort of thing where certain Occults are more likely to get along well together and others are less likely, thus the case of possible co-existing among the groups to turf wars.
Since most of the Occults have similar powers and abilities, but in different forms and fashions, there would need to be the deciding of what Occult is strongest in one category and weakest in another. It would make for interesting socializations. You might have a two Occults who have opposite strengths and weaknesses, but become best friends or more because they make up for each other's good and bad points. You could have an Occult Sim who has a bad relation with a Sim from a different Occult and so have to work hard at mastering the powers and abilities that are the weak points of the other Sim in order to not lose should a real fight start. Or you could be the bad guy and do that to bully the "enemy" Sim.
Other game play possibilities like just how being a certain Occult can affect holding various careers, doing hobbies and gaining other skills could be added. Game play with life stages could come in with age specific game packs, like a toddler GP, a child GP, a teen GP and of course a University GP.
Stuff Packs would just expand upon build, buy and CAS aesthetics and maybe minor gameplay - so no need to think much on those.
Also note, while my head suffered a headache, it came to me. What probably is holding the developers up big time in regards to fairies are the wings. A lot of the environment in the Sims4 is not friendly to large wings protruding from a human-like back. The wings would be constantly clipping through everything. With Werevolves they were able to find a solution for the problems a tail would bring by giving them all small knubby bob-tails. Fairies, however... Now that is a big problem. You can't just make them have near nonexistent wings.

It's time for the team to give us something new.
The last EP should have been a base game update and free... But since we got a new world it became an EP.

entirely her opinion. I've been waiting for this for too long. I'm happy that the new expansion Life and Death meets my expectations

Thank you for answering my thoughts step by step .
Well, so far everyone except witches has had occult form, for this reason I assume that perhaps it will be the same with the future fairies, unless they do it like in Sims 3.... so we can be grateful that it's different in Sims 4 is . Of course I would also have liked a 2 form for witches
Fight against other occults: it would be really interesting to watch them. I believe that, like other occults so far, they will have to choose their weaknesses

I was just thinking of a supernatural expansion pack for Sims 4. It introduces elves and pixies (fairies). BUT it expands supernatural gameplay for all occults. More cross-compatibility. I was just saying how I want occults to fight each other with their abilities. When those dag-on werewolves start rampaging at the karaoke bar, I want my spellcaster sim to be able to knock him out with that sleepy spell. Or at least zip zap him. When vamps drink from spellcasters, mermaids, and fairies I want there to be a cool moodlet. Maybe they even get some of the powers, or something.
When you befriend or date an occult that's different from you, I want it to mean something. Something small like a sentiment that shows the Sims are aware they are getting over their differences and got close to a regular sim or different occult.
Obviously, they expand on aliens and mermaids. IDK what they would do. IDK what people want. I don't play with those.
I want baby dragons to come back! From sims 3. And I want them to look just like Sims 3 baby dragons and not that dragon familiar from Sims 4. I want baby dragons to be able to be familiars to spellcasters. But they essentially work exactly how they did in Sims 3. You get the eggs. You take care of it, and you get a baby dragon. I know that was a different DLC. But I want it. And bring back the kilts while they're at it. Maybe you can sell dragon eggs, too.
There will be all those supernatural hangouts that you were talking about. Maybe some that are mixed-occult and others that are for specific occults.
Spellcasters can turn people into frogs and get cooler spells overall, again.
So, for elves and pixies...here are their powers. I'm thinking elves can be fast and strong like vampires. Physically strong, meaning they are more likely to win fist fights and light saber fights if you play Journey to Batuu. But also they are tanks. Getting electrocuted or caught on fire doesn't hurt them as much. They can also see in the tunnels without light like werewolves. And they can have some magical ability like talk to animals and build relationships with the Baby Dragons easier than anyone else.
Pixies on the hand(what most of y'all call fairies, but remember, fairy is an umbrella term that elves fall into in some cultures) have the same gifts they had in Sims 3. They heal flowers and heal other sims. From curses, spells, or just regular injuries that sims go through. They can also pull fairy pranks like break your plumbing or electricity. And they MUST bring back the arboretum and fairy house that multiple sims can go into at once and such. And the pixie dust that lets other sims fly. And of course both fairies have the same skill tree as the other occults.
Aliens are really good at science and often have negative moodlets towards spellcasters and fairies. They don't trust them. They can run experiments on sims and abduct them and figure out stuff about Sims in their little probing machine and if they have a high enough skill, they can change things about the Sims. Like make it pregnant or change its appearance. Or turn them into a doll or a seed. Sort of like Sims 3 transformation spell wizards could do. Lol, and if they fail, that sim will disappear. Maybe the Alien can have a whole alien career and that's why they do these things to sims. It's a live career that mixes the doctor and science career, but it takes place in the alien secret lab on a spaceship or something. So, when the alien is transported to work, it's not from outside, it's from like, a dock station where you can see the space sky from a window or something. Extra props if they give the lab a Corisant/Fifth Element vibe! That late 90s glowy vibe. IDK what to do with aliens, I really don't play with them. But y'all might like this for aliens
- K-bobster8 months agoSeasoned Hotshot
Now for the world! But I have to start off by saying, i think this expansion pack will be one of the rare ones where you'll NEED the occult packs to get the full experience. I don't think it should come with the other occults because I don't want that to take up space. I think the Sims 4 should make a super sale with all the occult packs at this pack's release. Like, all the occult packs are like 90% off. Or BOGO or something. But I want this pack to have all the room it needs to fully flesh out these ideas and not waste space by having to add all the occults in it.
There can be a world that is woodsy and kind of like the Dragon DLC from Sims 3. And it has a beach. And near the beach there is a portal to the mermaid world. Like the spellcaster world. It looks underwater and it's super mermaid core. And any new mermaid you make after the packs' release will have the equivalent of the transport stone that spellcasters have. This one can have pearls or something nautical. But once more, near the closest lot at the beach, there is a still a portal all mermaids can enter.
The mermaid grotto will have a royal mermaid on a throne and everything. All the ways that y'all want to expand on Mermaids, this is the easiest and most communal place for mermaids to do it. From the windows, you can sometimes see little shadows of fish and sea life zipping by. There can be mermaid books that expand on the lore on how mermaids and land dwellers interacted in the past. And how mermaids even got the ability to walk on land. You can unlock a legendary mermaid item that does something. But also looks really cool. And maybe there are other cool things you can unlock that are cool trinkets like golden figurines and amulets and such that serve a purpose and look awesome in a library. Stuff like items from Jungle Adventure and Sims 3 World Adventures. OOh,, and maybe that ultimate legendary item can allow you to challenge the mermaid monarch and if you win, you get to be the new mermaid monarch and rule over the mermaids and y'all can do mermaid activities like hunt. Sink ships and cause mayhem with land dwellers. And that affects how sims interact with mermaids in game, too. Are they scared, defensive, or friendly? Depends on what type of ruler you are. Y'all keep fleshing this part out. And regular sims have to wear scuba gear to go to the Grotto. And they might get harassed by mermaids. So they better know how to fight. Especially if they try to take a mermaid treasure. But they can turn into a mermaid monarch if they complete the challenge, They'll also turn into a mermaid, too. And maybe mermaids can finally get a familiar like a dolphin or octopus or crab or seahorse or something. And needless to say, the grotto is underwater, so the mermaids are in mermaid form down there. And you can choose your monarch crown. It will function like crafted jewelry. You can take it off or leave it on and store it out to be displayed. There can be like, 4 variants.
So there is the Grotto, and the Space ship(only sims in the alien scientist career can access the spaceship).
Now, as far the world itself, like I said, it looks like Dragons DLC. Forest, With a hint of elven art deco/noveau. There is the fairy section of town, the spellcaster side of town, and the vampire side of town, and the beach which is the entrance into the grotto, but it's also the neutral side of town. There can be a few residential lots. But it's mostly bars and hangouts. The fairy hangout has a section where elves and other sims can learn archery. Which they can use to defend themselves against occult attacks. Randomized occult attacks are more likely to happen in this world. I liked how in Sims 3, there was a danger of getting attacked by the Mummy in World Adventures. So, sometimes, I want my sims attacked by an unfriendly occult townie and they get to fight them Or, there can be an underground Mortal Kombat ring like an Spellcaster Magic Duel, thing. Nothing mortal. Just a place to challenge people to a variety of duels. That would be fun. You can duel someone from your occult or someone not in your occult. And y'all can duel for tips and get paid. And it builds your skill. And just like Spellcaster duels, you can duel anywhere.
There should be an evil Pixie that causes mayhem like Agnes Crumplebotton and she has a candy house and if you steal candy from her, she'll curse you. You'll want to eat so much and then your sims turns overweight in a Sim week and if you haven't cured the curse in a week, she'll come and find you and EAT you! LMAO! You COULD get a pixie to cure you if the pixie has a high enough skill. But, if not, you have to go through these steps to cure the curse yourself. I think the animation when she comes and eats you is a boiling cauldron with carrots and potatoes appears and your sims is sitting in and sinks as it boils and the evil pixie just grabs the contents like cauldron mac and cheese and eats the soup. And while she's slurping unbothered, Deth does his thing. But the evil Pixie does a lot of things. Ruins your garden. Steals things from your house. When she does that, you can fight her off. And it shouldn't be constant. It should be rare. And I guess she is only bound to her world.
I think the vampire should have a moody underground dance club. Like, the top looks like a standard restroom or something, but the party is downstairs. Dance cages, strobe lights, rave bar type shii.
The spellcaster neighborhood can have a cool apothecary shop. Maybe that cool fortune teller wagon again. Maybe that can be other career in this pack. It can even come with its own tarot deck. But it will be a rabbithole career.
I think all occults should have a legendary item. The spellcasters can have a fortune teller wagon like that food sale tables. The spellcaster can use tarot deck or medium career actions with their wagon. You set it up like the food sale table or whatever. And it should look cool. The werewolves can have whatever. Maybe a map that helps them find all the other legendary items. The elves can have this awesome bow or staff that doesn't miss. The pixies can have this super seed that grows a special legendary plant with legendary properties. We know the mermaids have the triton or whatever that allows them to be the mermaid monarch. The aliens can have a spaceship like on Sims 3. Maybe the vampires can have this vampiric sunscreen. But it only has 4-6 servings. Or better yet, there is a magic mirror that gives them their reflection. And it can transport them to Forgotten Hallow or something. Maybe they can spy on Vlad and it just gives these pop-ups saying something silly or juicy vlad is doing. You could probably blackmail him for it later. Maybe they can even make a wish. And other sims can make a wish with the magic mirror, too. Or it gives advice or something. Anyway, all of these legendary items are scattered and hidden around the world and you have to do these quests to obtain them. Maybe an aspiration can be to obtain all of the Legendary Items. And you can display them, so they need to look awesome.
Now for the CAS and BB. I actually have no vision for this. I want witch hats back, obviously. Maybe now is the time that the Sims 4 decides to follow CC creators and gives us tiaras and flower head wreaths under hats. That would be nice. And some kilts. And an eyepatch. And more eyelashes. All new EPs should come with lashes at this point. And some cool occult-specific tattoos.
But as far as what the overall aesthetic is, IDK. If it's not bands or Victorian or 90s pack, I Don't care. If they want to put an out of place 80s/90s theme here, I wouldn't mind. More curtain bangs. More sweaters and tucked in sweatshirts. Long hair with a big bow in the back. So much floral and puffy sleeves. That Johnny Depp from 21 Jumpstreet hair. When its loose and then when it's styled back. Also, Afro-curly hair with bangs in 3 styles, down; half up; and high pony with a scarf or headband. Like Lisa Turtle or something. It can be a girl's natural hair OR straight haired sim's perm. Also, Phoebe from Friends style. More of those embroidered vests and Agnes hair from Wandavision. Big round or octagonal glasses. Better 80s90s cuffed jeans that look good with that black turtleneck from Cats and Dogs. A crew-neck t-shirt with a simple open vest and the t-shirt tucks in. Just all the good looks from 1986-1994. That was my favorite fashion. And this pack doesn't need that look. I just like that look. We could just go with coquette, cottage core, high fantasy, or cyberpunk or something.
BB style is another thing I don't have a vision for. Unless they went storybook and victorian/edwardian. Giving us all the things I want like hurricane lamps and more tasseled lamps in better colors. And sconces and that victorian loveseat from sims 1-3 making a comeback! More stained glass windows. A new vanity. Just because we want variety. But the must have items ARE dragon eggs, dragon babies, an arboretum, pixie houses, a tall old fashioned radio. A new tea set. The archery set.
So, yeah. I think the world should be more Edwardian/Victorian. But, light Victorian. Not moody Victorian like Spellcasters and Vampires. That's why I say more Edwardian. Lead-glass Southern cottage windows. Stained glass windows. Those lamps and the loveseat I said I wanted. Armoires. More classical nightstands, but also some wicker nightstand. Over stuffed sofas and chairs. More of those Vampire toilets in more neutral swatches. And we can get two kits that are themed to give us more victorian/edwardian goodies like more swatches shingle siding. And gingerbread eves and all that.
And hey, I know y'all are thinking this doesn't match the 80s90s CAS I described. But an appreciation for that time period was popular at that time since it was 100 years ago for them, anyway. So. Hey. Lol, y'all might have a better idea of CAS and BB. But I just want the other game play features I suggested, But I do want there to be glittery pastel skin and new eye colors like from Sims 3 elves.
Another idea can be a boho theme. I used o love giving all of my fairies in Sims 3 the outfits and hairstyles from the Boho DLC from the store. That long, shaggy, face obscuring moptop had my male fairies in a chokehold. Same with that super layered shirt. IDK why when I see fairy, I think hippy.
- Miataplay8 months agoLegend
Awesome!
When I see fairies I think of a beautiful rainforest and their farie villages hidden deep within. I think of little people that keep the wooded areas and forest clean, magical and mystical.
Hippies don't have this capability but they love music.

Yes, it would be great if we could fight each other in an occult way.
It really annoys me that aliens are almost useless and have no talent tree. Same thing with mermaids and that there is no underwater world, that you can't dive into the depths of the ocean.... it would be nice if you could also develop further as an occult with possibilities of good and evil, for example if you choose the path of the siren ,the path of evil and thereby sinking ships
I also miss the fact that you can't make decisions about spells whether you want to be good or evil like in Sims 3

I'm guessing the next pack has to be band, hotel, cars, or fairy related! These are the four things left that most simmers are hoping for! I want bands the most.
But the sims team did surprise us with life and death. That was such a unique and unexpected pack. I loved it. So, who knows. Maybe we won't get the highly requested stuff and get another unpredictable, off the rails pack. Ooh, but I hope it's a supernatural pack, or bands,

I keep waiting for fairies for ages now, and there was a survey and hints and what not, but somehow this seems to be a forgotten occult.
I can see a huge potential for this occult and in my opinion why re-invent the wheel.
Lets just take a reputation for instance - fairies could be good or bad based on their decisions and actions and have a unique interactions with other occult or non occult sims. Of course I would expect a lore to be build around it, their own world, abilities much like for werewolves and special look for both masculine and feminine looking sims.
Another possibility easily compatible with the (good/bad) reputation or simply choosing to follow dark/ light path would be incorporating seasons, meaning being able to manipulate weather or lets say a small example if the fairy gets angry or is bad/on dark path can strike other sim with lightning or make it rain only on that specific sim and opposite if good/on light path the fairy can make the plant blossom or bare fruit immediately or fix a bad relationship.
I would also love to see some interactions with the animals that are already there like become friends with killer rabbit as a dark fairy and be able to adopt that rabbit as companion or something like that. Light fairy could have "better than best friend" ability with animals, so that for example cow would always give some special milk when being milked by a fairy. Or the light fairy could help sims conceive twins or triplets and the dark fairy could cause infertility for example.
Even with other occults - if at the highest level they could either curse someone with becoming werewolf or wampire or free them from this curse and that's just one out of many possible occult interactions.
There is a lot that could be done with fairies it just requires a bit of imagination and pixie dust 😉 - madalice12437 months agoSeasoned Novice
