Extra emotion feels too much like real life

You ruined the game. All this extra emotion. The Sims can't have a basic life. You have added all this extra emotion, which feels too much like real life! It's a game! They can't have a relationship that lasts because you made it too much like real life!  IT'S A GAME! Can you back off on all the extra emotion? I liked it when they were happy all the time. They get into a relationship, and it's a show of extra emotion, and no one is happy. The constant asking how you feel is just too much! Along with the too-long homework sessions, the added courting, and then they have to constantly try to make a relationship work, a long workday makes it feel too much like a real-life situation! I come to escape not work real life
