Family relationships
Can we have the option to add family relationships with sims in CAS without having to add inbetween sims to make that connection. For example the option to add cousins and choose maternal / paternal side. Or even cousin of ‘unknown aunt/ uncle’ At the moment you have to make both sims parents and make their relationship siblings to be able to make cousins.
They shouldn’t limit relationships based on life stage because sometimes your nephews are older than you/ uncles are younger.
Young adults should also be able to have young adult children in cas so there’s more creative freedom on storylines/ gameplay.
Can we also have the option to choose ‘biological father/ mother’ and step / adopted father in cas.
Also the option to adopt your sims even if in same life stage. For example siblings, if parents die you could adopt your siblings as your son/ daughter and have parental responsibility/ relationship with them and be able to choose whether you are strict in cas like any other parent.
There should be an option to change label/ nickname for sims too…. So if playing as one sim and it says ‘this sim is calling ‘ but this sim is your mother calling you could have the option for it to say ‘mama calling’ or ‘mum calling’ as opposed to their full name to make it more realistic.
It could be the same for all sims where you can chose a nickname to be more realistic and all messages from them would be their nickname , not their full name.
Each sim could chose a different nickname for each sim . So one sim might by ‘mama’ to their child , but ‘babe’ to their husband / ‘ex’ to their ex. etc.
