That's all common sense stuff with any game you can build in. No wonder I don't have any issues playing this on a mini computer, or on ps4. I was just already doing this stuff from learning about how games work when I was a kid. I only started using mods a couple years ago, but did a lot of research first, so I never enable mods after an update until making sure everything I use is up to date and wasn't just updated after a previous update and then left unmaintained. Also, I keep my mods folder at around 2 gigs, so I can check everything easier. Most of what I see people blaming the game for is obviously due to user error because it's almost always the same stuff over and over again. If people wised up we'd probably have cars and bands by now, but as it is the people at maxis have to spend most of their time looking for bugs that aren't even part of the game, just broken mods.
