It's a nice animation for when couple's are outside but they're doing it indoors. They are just looking up at the ceiling and it's not even glass. I get that I'm playing with walls down but still...

It does seem a bit overpowered. I visited a bar with my Sims and 5 different NPC couples were doing the animation on one lot.
