I get the opposite way around. The blue may remind someone of their childhood so much that they don't like seeing their date wear blue.
But what reason there is to dislike a color but be turned on by it?

one might be prejudiced about people wearing certain color, say wearing pink might have people thinking you're barbie gal which might not be their vibe
or maybe you find your date wearing red to a date all too cheesy
or maybe you're vampire and yellow reminds you of the sun hisses
oooor maybe you watched one too many videos about poisonous pigments and you are now reminded of them everytime you see idk green or something
or maybe you have strangerville traumas and now colors purple blue and red are very much not attractive to you
