Like seriously.
I've stopped playing because of this... Didn't bought the last last pack either.
The game is unplayable as it is. Kills any enjoyment from it.
And side question : is there an actual support mail, rather than chat.
I would like to point at that reddit thread too :
Hello, long time Sims player here. First of all, I love the Sims! Only thing is, since free-play has been available, the ads have been quite aggressive for those of us who have purchased the full product. Is there any way that a toggle switch can be made available to disable ads for that product? So, for example, if I purchased Eco Life, can there be a toggle switch that makes it so I do not see ads for Eco Life? To be honest, I would prefer to not see ads at all, because I have purchased everything but the kits and one stuff pack, all of which I fully intend on purchasing in the future but I won't keep purchasing products if I just keep seeing ads, I don't feel that is fair to me as someone who has spent hundred, if not thousands on the Sims franchise. Because it takes away from an experience I invested in. I am willing to work with a toggle switch, for packs I do not own but in that event, I would prefer something that is cute and says "Hey, don't' forget about me" rather then a big box I have to close out of. You already have the notification in Gameplay. So, maybe stick with that, customized "featured packs" on log in and the toggle switch. That would be better for this customer. I appreciate the time you took in reading this.

Guys, seriously. Since I posted this, I have purchased multiple expansion packs and now my game is straight crashing TO SHOW ME AD'S! This is getting stupid. I know you guys want money but you have to think of long term customer satisfaction. I have been spending less than I have in the past, just so you know and almost didn't purchase the expansions I did. Whereas in the past, I made a point to own all expansions. I really want to continue enjoying Sims 4...

SquishyMcsquee what platform are you on please? Have you seen any screen freeze ups after ads like the players in this bug report?

I am on a Mac computer. I didn't see a freeze up but the game crashed completely and sent me to my EA page. I think I solved it but I'm not sure...

I think the idea of showing a pack's promotional images during the loading screens would be better than the mai menu pop-ups and the shopping cart button giving us messages, because we'd have something interesting to look at while there's nothing to do. Sad that they didn't go with it.

thornwill I really like that idea. I've got 2 pop ups to dismiss at the start now for upcoming things. They could brighten up the loading screens with it instead.
