I'm really, really disappointed this is a feature and not a bug. 😞
I, too, have sensory issues and find the game unplayable with a flashing icon on my screen. A product I have invested time and money into, to help with stress and anxiety, now causes it.
After all the effort Sims4 has made to be inclusive, you'd think they would have thought this through more. While I don't think the further push for cash grabs is tasteful, I get why a business does that... but you should at least stop the icon flashing so that people who have invested in your product can still use it.
Ideally, if you want to make money and have people buy more of your products, you should FIX the bugs in the products you have. That will make them a lot more appealing and have influences advocating for the packs instead of just showcasing how broken some of them are... THAT'S why people don't want to buy them. Not because they're unaware they exist.
