So the pulsing icon was replaced with a flashing dot? I didn't want to update my game because of the cart icon but I did to get the rewards. It's annoying, very distracting, and completely unnecessary. It makes me want to not play the game.

14 Weeks....
Well, I've been holding off on updating my game all this time, but it seems I will be forced to by June 10th.
I will have to start playing ... à la carte, if you will. ( I joke to hide the pain. )
I can't help but wonder if the reason they're actually doing this is because they saw the downtick in players updating their games, thus sabotaging their hot now advertising tactics? Because they aren't warning players of any other games to update before the 10th.
As a developer i'm curious as to what could lead to this.
I foresee a mess with a lot of players unable to access their games.
Supposedly it is due to updated coding for better performance … Yet the game’s coding is continually being updated to improve the game and fix bugs...
Hopefully it will be an easier fix than uninstalling and reinstalling the app (hopefully without losing all your purchases).
It is very suspicious that there is no transparency from EA about this issue.
I must admit to major concerns about where this is leading with future marketing, micro-transactions… given that everyone who is playing Sims 4 will now have the shopping cart (unless modded out).
