Hey all,
A request from those who are still claiming to see the pulsing cart icon after the emergency patch: if at all possible could you get us any video of what you're seeing in game around this?
The pulsating cart icon should not be occurring after the emergency patch release.
There is a small yellow dot in the corner of the cart icon that you should still see until you click on it, then it should go away.
Any info you can provide would be helpful, and if you're playing on PC with a no-mod vanilla game install and are still seeing the pulsing icon (or any other oddness) please follow the steps here to share your save file with us for further investigation.

@EA_Cade So is EA just ignoring the feedback to REMOVE the button entirely? I personally have uninstalled Sims 4 entirely until I know that EA has resolved the issue to my satisfaction. Been a fan of the franchise since 2000 and this just confirms my experience with Sims 4 is not important to EA whatsoever. The franchise is the only game I play from EA. Why is there a in-game purchase button in a SINGLE-player game? I want answers, and am not looking for meaningless PR speak. This one update just made me stop supporting EA and to not allow my children (EA's target audience) to buy games from EA as well.

@Prov31Simmer Your question reminded me that I also wanted to know when all this feedback would be presented to EA by EA_Cade. @EA_Cade, could you please tell us when there is likely a decision to be made on this? I realize it's the weekend, so definitely not this week, lol. Thank you again.

I'm afraid this isn't something I would be able to provide, if a change is made it would be communicated from the dedicated @TheSimsDirect channel on X, or on the Sims News section over at EA.com. My involvement is simply to add a megaphone to your voices to ensure they are heard, and I am doing just that.
To everyone else: I'm working my way through the replies at the moment trying to reply to everyone that tagged me over the weekend.

Same. Although, my game is offline and EA will not receive anymore of my money until it's removed and just so we're clear. I'm a 40 yr old with dual income. I have nothing but disposable income.

I know your feedback is being heard, because I'm the one reporting on it. As I've said elsewhere in this thread I am sending out daily collated reports on this topic to the team and doing my absolute best to be your voice.

Unfortunaltly, i have to add that the pulsating is back in my game. I dont know why. Too old for X, will not make an account to check that. If the Sims News in on the Sims forums, I am banned from there, so that that is not helpful. I only check in when I have issues after a game update. I most likely will not even know since I uninstalled Sims 4 out of principle.
