I 100% agree with all of the points.
Judging decor is such an obnoxious and intrusive feature that should have never been added. Sims will literally stop what they're doing just to go stare at a freaking lamp. Why was this feature even necessary? Same with the room sniffing. I pretty much gave up using Bust the Dust because of the annoying animations. They'll walk into the house, sniff the air, go upstairs, sniff the air... like why? Clicking on the ground and check dust levels is enough, why do we also need annoying sparkles, sounds, and animations?
@NightlyCoffee - The sparkles don't bother me. It's a good visual cue and subtle enough to not be bothersome. Most times, I don't notice unless I'm looking for it, but room sniffing is absolutely a nuisance. It slows down queued activities and is honestly kinda gross, especially when it's the bathroom. Plus, who does that IRL, sniffing every room they enter? No one sane.
Absolutely agree on all four counts! Especially the CAS animations (so unnecessary and downright irritating) and phone usage (I've ranted about that on other threads, so I won't repeat it all, but suffice it to say this is one of my biggest pet peeves in the game).
The excessive use of phones gets absurd, they even do it while swimming! If they wanted to include that element, they should have at least done it correctly. It should be a negative trait like "smartphone addict", and it should trigger negative reactions when someone does it constantly while holding a conversation.
