Front door changes

Hi all,

This is currently working as designed, as Sims will route to whichever door is closest to the lot's spawn point. 

Please feel free to provide your feedback here if you'd like us to revisit this design choice. 

I have two exterior buildings in addition to my sims house and for some reason every time I load the game or leave the lot and come back the front door assigned to the house is now assigned to the green house instead.

How do I make it so that the front door I assigned(the house) stays assigned and I don't have to fix it every time I load my home lot?

Hi, I am getting more and more frustrated about this one.

I usually like to place houses downloaded from the gallery or already move my sims into pre-placed lots. And right from the start it is working well, but after arriving back from travelling with any of my sims, another door gets selected as a front door. The other time I had a shed/wine cellar in the backyard, and it's door got selected as the main front door. 

So NPCs like to go through my house, through my main door just so they could knock on the door that is for the backyard. 

I keep switching it back, whenever I notice it, but it always gets replaced once I leave the lot again..

Anyone else noticing this??

Heya! I think that's a great design choice, but the greenhouse in my haunted house is at the back of the lot, furthest away from the spawn point on the Hallows lot in Willow Creek. When I get this glitch, it's never the frontmost door that becomes the front door, it's always the one furthest away (the back door, the shed/greenhouse/outhouse in the back garden). No matter how many times I set the actual front door (at the front of the lot, always the closest door to the spawn point) as the front door, visitors will always revert using the back door/greenhouse door/shed to knock once there's been a loading screen.

That's odd I have almost all the dlc, including businesses and hobbies play on ps4 and pc and have never experienced this issue with any of my households.

I am having this issue as of today too.

Also, this issue with the front door changing when I have multiple doors leading outside occurs on a normal residential lot when I switch households and return to play on that lot, but when I stay on the same lot after setting the correct front door again, it doesn't change. 

This happens with or without mods.
