After the March 17 patch, I logged into my personal gallery page. The images show in download order, rather than newest. That means unless a user knows to look beyond the front page, they won't see my newest creations. I've tried resetting it several times, and it keeps going back to downloads order. I'm not very happy about this.

I just tried to save a room and despite it saying it's saved. It's not showing up in my gallery. This includes CAS and lots. But everyone else seems to be able to save things. EDIT: I've even tried repairing the game
I updated the game and everything worked fine immediately after. I come back now and the lots that I’ve picked off of the Gallery have the faded green download arrow saying Lot already saved. When I go to my library, the lots are there. The lots I chose do not have CC and I have zero mods. I have closed the game and the app several times. I’ve repaired the games and updated the EA app. I’m unsure what else to try.
They changed the default sort order of your library - it’s now “most popular” instead of most recent. Did you try switching the filter back to most recent? Maybe the newest lots are just buried.
I don't know how it is for you.
But I've completely lost my inspiration for building new houses. What's the point if I can't offer them to other players for free?
What motivates me to create is giving, bringing joy, and now my new creations aren't even being seen. The latest one, right after the update, has zero downloads. Do you think that's normal? Considering the money we've invested in this game, the responsiveness is slow. Without wanting to be dramatic, I feel abandoned.
And my little pleasure of building houses has abandoned me too. I'm not incredibly skilled, admittedly, and I won't have the number of downloads of the older players, but just a few are enough to make me smile and motivate me to improve.
When will there be an update to change the status to "recent" instead of "popular"?
Sorry to say, but this change made no sense at all. It continues to push old content instead of new ones, and since the eradication of the news feed, we don't even see new posts, new Maxis favs awarded, or what new builds and creations the creators we follow have posted.
This has become a demoralising exercise, posting to the gallery, where we spend hours creating something, only to have zero or minimal downloads, and our content never gets discovered because we are hidden in some obscure page millions of miles down.
Another change that needs to happen is why on earth would I want to see "Most Popular" when I go into my library? I want to see what I created last - my newest build or Sim.
I know the team looks for things they can improve, but how about asking the broader community about changes to features such as these before implementing them? The removal of the News Feed a few years ago, has been one of the biggest mistakes made to the gallery and caused many creators to just disappear. Along with limitaiton to the number of creators you can follow. And the names being wiped out. So sad.
the order in which uploads are showing was changed to Most Popular. Do they appear if you change to newest ?

After 9 different uploads got 2 downloads in total between all 9 of them, pulled them off the gallery and waiting for the fix.
There's just no point in uploading anything while the default settings is most popular. Any attempt I made ended in disappointment.
