[GtW] Sixam and Alien Refresh?
So I recently traveled to Sixam with both my scientist and astronaut Sims, only to find it completely empty. I know this is by design for some reason, but I'd REALLY like it to be a little more excit...

@simsplayer818 I think the gate needs to be updated with all the updates available to be able to go to Sixam.
@GiardiniDiMarzoReally? I have a fully updated portal but I don't think I ever left it in the lab. It's in my (lvl 10) scientist's lab at home, however she's now dead and a ghost, so she's no longer a scientist. ☹️ Does the sim have to be a high level scientist for this to happen?
But still, that seems like a tiny thing to have happen for them to have built a whole alien planet around. Although it's not like there's anything going on in Sylvan Glade either and you can go there, lol.

PS I have gone to sixam with the portal before, but not as a work event so nothing shows up I guess. I just could swear I've gone there before and seen aliens walking around, but I've never played the scientist career before now, so I'm not sure what's up with that.
- @LadyAofPineapple You need to be an active scientist, have the skills to make the portal and put it in the workplace. And obviously go to work with your sim everyday.
It's a work event yes, simple but funny, I don't want to spoil too much. 😉- @GiardiniDiMarzo My Sim got her invite to Sixam to join the event!
I figured out why I haven't seen it before, it's because I stop playing them once they reach level 10 of the science career because I don't like the eyewear that goes with the new career outfit 🤦.

@LadyAofPineapple have you found the Geodes to collect? They are only found on Sixam. I'm attaching an image for you incase you haven't spotted them as they're often hidden in foliage. They look a bit like a chess pawn and you collect the little ball from the top and in your personal inventory you polish them and can display them at home. They look really pretty.
I've also created some nice paintings from reference on Sixam before too. I can't remember where my Sim placed the easel (possibly just used Place in World) 🤦. But she made some really nice paintings of the scenery. It's been a while though since I did that.
@simsplayer818Oh ok, I will try to complete the geode collection with my "not so berry" yellow sim (astronaut). The mint generation (scientist) is long gone, though, so no invites to Sixam for the foreseeable future I guess. ☹️
I will also try the paint from reference now that that's fixed and they are no longer black. I do wish the images were clear like they used to be and not cracked looking.
