Gym strangers/gym trainers becoming a close friend way too easily

Whenever my sim goes to a gym lot and works out, they build friendships with random other sims WAY too easily. This also applies to the trainers at the gym. Gym relationships should be limited to a minimum. If I want my sim to become friends with their trainer or another random gym-goer, I should be able to choose to develop that relationship with social interactions outside of gym activities and conversation. But having a fitness mentor should default to a limited, acquaintance-level relationship. The random sims hyping me up while I'm on the treadmill should not yield any relationship at all. Currently my sim walks away with too many high level friends from a simple day at the gym. I don't think anyone should talk to my sim at the gym unless I talk to them first, actually.
