I want a mill, wheat and sugar cane (and/or get sap/syrup from maple trees) that we can mill into flour and sugar (and/or make syrup). Also no phones (or at least no cellphones), more off grid items for water collecting (water well), power (water mill), etc.
I thought that (above mentioned) would be good for a medieval pack but homesteading would work too. I barely remember the little house on the prairie books but I remember the chapter where they made candy with the sap/syrup from the maple trees in the fresh snow :D
