I came up with something else. How about new interactions? Topics of discussion that would be tied to various holiday related issues. Such as where to go on holiday, what type of holiday to have, or remembering a holiday you did have?
- Discuss favourite holiday destination (friendly)
- Discuss next vacation destination (friendly)
- Argue about next vacation destination (mean)
- Share a vacation story (group story)
- Reminisce about vacation
A new object could be a photo album, where sims could put their photos (alone or as a group activity) and look through to remember and reminisce.
Social bunny could also have more threads (so combability with high school years):
- Make a post about how awful/boring/fantastic/beautiful/fun the vacation is. Different "posts" depending on what emotions are chosen.
- Make posts about upcoming vacations (so excited about the vacation...)
People could also have vacation type preferences (likes and dislikes) which could affect combability (growing together).
- active holidays (doing sports, climbing mountains, diving, snorkling, jetskiing...)
- sun-soaking holidays (beach, pools, suntanning, swimming)
- winter-holidays (snowboarding, skiing, sledding)
- outdoorsy holidays (camping, horseback riding, exploring...)
- learning/exploring holidays (increasing skills, exploring the jungle, archaeology, treasure hunting, digging for collectables/rocks...)
- romantic holidays (any romantic interaction)
- foodie holiday (try new cuisine, learn new recipes, go to restaurants, try local food stalls)
