Idea for a new expansion pack? Formula 1
I didn't know where else to put this - Honestly, the many ideas that randomly pop into my head "I wonder what that would look like on the Sims?" Is there a place where we can write down ideas for EA? Like a suggestion box or specific email? I don't know if there is, that would be cool too.
I think it would be cool to have a Sims 4 Formula 1 pack. I might be one of a few who would think so, but given how many people have created different F1 themed items on the Sims it could be very cool.
I was thinking about some of the things that could be included
-New jobs such as F1 Pilot, mechanical engineer, pit-stop crew, F1 media manager. Given, most of these could be part of a progression/promotion in one singular job, ie F4 pilot etc, choosing to become an F1 pilot or Team Principal/Team CEO
-New hobbies including go-karting, SIM-racing, car model making. I'm not sure if collecting is considered a hobby but there could be a shelving unit option with slots for memorabilia, signed hats, car models, signed cards etc
-Calendar events, for example Grand Prix Race Day. Sims could have the option of attending the race or hosting a watch party (If there was a partnership with a team your sims could change into a Red Bull/McLaren/Ferrari shirt, my sims would never be without theirs)
-Calendar event with sims potentially having the option to attend races, if the pack were to come with a new world it could be based on a current GP race track? My thoughts would be Monaco (pretty iconic), Bahrain (I think it has the potential to be pretty in the sims and have a lot of options for builds) or Silverstone (the site of the first F1 race). Having a vacation lot in that world would work with with a GP event, where they could book the rental lot during the event with options to purchase tickets to the circuit.
-It could even come with cars. I loved the cars in Sims 2, they were awesome, and could tie in well with the theme
If there are anymore thoughts or ideas please add them on, these were the main ones I couldnt get out of my head so I'm sure there are definitely more.
The run up to the release of the pack could include an event with a current driver? Your sim is helping them prepare for the first race day of the season.
Basically, I love Formula 1 and even though it's a lot to try and get to a grand prix race myself, at least my sims would be able to go to one. This would have me playing the sims every day.
