IDEA: Visual Significance to the Book of Life
Could the book cover for the Book of Life appear more significant, please? It looks exactly like a mystery novel and blends in with all the other generic book titles in the base game. It just doesn't stand out as supernatural or special.
It would be cool if the Book of Life, an aspiration achievement with resurrection powers, could look as notable and detailed as the Cursed Book from For Rent, or like the Realm of Magic spell books.
Maybe the style for a revamped Book of Life could be leather-bound with an Ankh symbol or a Celtic Knot Tree or a Heart with Heart Line. Just something that would make this special book feel more special.
Maybe we could add a unique animation when "Capturing the Epic Saga" of a living Sim, and actually make this action feel more epic. The book could be floating when it's recording a Sim's life. Glow while recording. Maybe when the Book of Life has been bound to a Sim, it could give off a pulsing glow, like a heartbeat, when left out on a table. Or maybe this special book could have it's own unique display or bookshelf.
