Improve Genetics For Occult Sims

I don’t know if it was overlooked or just ignored, so I’m posting this here instead of in bug reports.

I love occult sims, I play with occult parents and I prefer them being different occults rather than the same. My main sim is a mermaid and she’s had babies with a few different occults now, but I’ve noticed that all of her mermaid offspring’s mermaid forms are basically just copy pasted looks from her. Hella freckles, the same rounded face, ALL of their mermaid forms basically have an identical look to their mother (minus hair and eye colour). Some of them even show no freckles in “human” form but their faces are then suddenly covered with them in mermaid form, because their mermaid mother has them. She’s had 1000+ babies now and I genuinely do not remember any of her mermaid kids’ mermaid forms looking different.

I also want to point out that the occult form appearance is so drastic that the literal face shape is different to the normal form, as if they’re treated as two different people. I get that “human” form and occult form would look different depending on what occult your sim is, but with what is available for mermaids… it doesn’t make sense. Mermaids may as well get a revamp fr.

It’d be nice if the occult form didn’t compromise genetics so much… or it could just be with mermaids. Though I remember when the spellcaster and vampire grandparents had kids none of them adopted the vampire’s pale skin (it’s pale in both forms). Or maybe that was chance, idk.
