Inconsistent Social Compatibility: Bad matches are too positive

In The Sims 4 social compatibility system, I’ve noticed that my Sim constantly chats with others they have Bad Compatibility with, while completely ignoring those with Amazing Compatibility. This shouldn't be happening, as Sims with bad compatibility are supposed to avoid each other—and even when they do talk, the interaction should be negative, never positive.

I am fine that bad/awful compatibility Sims talk/socialize. But they seem to still get positive friendships which you think they'd have negative or at least it be very hard to get strong positive relationships.
