I feel that a 'scandal' can last forever, not a few days. For example, a secret child or lover has happened and their connections are made, they exist.

    In my game, secrets that aren’t discovered (meaning they don’t turn into scandals) disappear after a few days — including the secret child and secret lover secrets. Both of them vanished after some time.

    I was expecting my Sim to be able to expose her biological father’s secret once she became a teenager. But when she finally aged up into a teen, there were no secrets left anymore.
