Latest Family Tree Rework is Worst Update in History

The update a couple months ago that reworked how the family tree works broke every single multi-generational save on my game. I tried everything I could think of to fix it. Re-creating families in cas doesn't work, no mod in existence can fix it, and modders have now completely removed relationship features because they can't get them to work with the game. It has ruined my legacy saves irreparably, and there seems to be absolutely no recourse from Maxis. It is so frustrating and honestly makes me not want to play those saves because the family relations are just so broken. Two months later and still I can't find anything that can fix the issues. It annoys me so much because there was nothing wrong with the previous system, and devs seem to have no interest in making it right. "Oops, sorry; guess your six year legacy save with ten generations is now completely obsolete. Oh well."
