Knitting Basket can be used without being in the inventory

Question

I'd love to use the knitting basekt like the cross stitch basket. It could be a nice decoration in the house and also could be used for knitting. Now I have to buy two knitting baskets if I want one as decoration as they only work when placed in the inventory.

I also find it very confusing why you can't just use the basket in the world, as well as from your inventory. It throws me every time! The cross-stitch item didn't have this issue.

@DarthSimlish Yeah, I'd say the cross-stitch basket has the opposite issue: every single sim does it if it's available, no matter their preferences on it or in general it doesn't vibe with them, lol.

It would be great to be able to have the knitting basket as a decoration and also knitting without having it in the inventory. I also like having it on display as decoration.

@DarthSimlish Same. It means that you can’t add it to community lots and be able to use it! I don’t understand why it’s different than the cross stitch box.
