I must admit—I was thinking that—though highly implied no more EPs, that it wasn't the case (but my hopes probably gave me a bias). I just think that even EA/Maxis/Devs/Reps aren't sure till if/after the Buyout is completed where the game is going.
If we are getting one between what I think we'd get and what I want are...
- What I think... Adventure World and Hotels/Resorts. Regions unknown but hopeful Greek, African or Asian. Activities expansion to archeology skill (working separate and with JA's version), actual under water scuba diving, running a hotel, etc.
- What I want... Medieval/Fantasy/Steampunk. Baby dragons, occult upgrade/refresh, basic non-occult magic/magical items and themed content. Technology object replacement, and technology free gameplay/era gameplay. Including maybe some choice era kits for those who may want a specific era such as Art Nouveau, Renaissance, Rococo, etc.
