Making Curtains and Mirrors Adjustable

There are already so many mods to help us with adjusting the heights to our curtains and mirrors. But, for those of us who do not like to use Mods... this is a big need.

There are many mirrors I would love to use above certain "smaller" fireplaces, various dressers, and to work around some windows. But with them only being available at one height level really limits our use of the them.

The same with our curtains. In many ways we are limited with the ones we have to work with as not all will fit all window sizes and do not always work well with changing the actual size of these curtains making them bigger or smaller, as it just doesn't fit right or is proportionally off in the width of the panels making them look huge or too thin or narrow.

Now, there are some windows where these curtains could work better, but are in need of just a slight lift up/down or over to one side or another, but the way these curtains are designed to snap into place, even when using the Alt key... it just won't work. Ravasheen, has created an override to help us make these curtains more user friendly, but again... I prefer to stay away from Mods if possible.

Please help us to have more flexibility here.

Thank you for your much needed consideration.

  • I completely agree; I hate how the pretty curtains I want don't fit in a window because it's "too long" to fit. I also dislike that the size variants of the curtains aren't very flexible either.

The mirrors I also wish were more flexible because some of the pretty mirrors that would be perfect to hang on a wall will either be too tall, too short, too small, or something other. I also would like variants of the floor mirrors into wall mirrors because that would be awesome.

@MJTiny Yes! I love your concept of making some of the floor mirrors into wall mirrors.
  • I've always found it weird how mirrors are stuck at a fixed height (without cheats) yet toilet paper, light switches and/or thermostats can be placed pretty much anywhere except on the ceiling or the floor. The previous mentioned things set at fixed heights would be so much more helpful. I always have a hard time with those, placing them too high or too low. The mirrors though? I want to be able to place them freely.
