Meteorite does not fall if you return home before it falls

Do you play on all the platforms you have chosen and have tested this on them all ? If not, please only pick the platform you have had this issue on.

I removed the Xbox and Mac tag, I only play on PC and yes I tested the bug

I tested the bug and it doesn't depend on my PC or the mods since I've never used them in my life in the game. It can't be fixed by repairing the game, uninstalling it, reinstalling it, or emptying the game cash. I only play from PC and I corrected the tags in the report by removing Xbox and Mac from which I've never played in my life. I'm playing from Windows 11 updated to the latest version.

sorry can someone tell me if the Sims returns home before a meteorite falls after the notification that it is about to fall if it should fall even if it is inside the house and leave the meteorite on the ground or not because if it is not so I apologize for reporting a non-existent bug which then is better in the gameplay feedback

I believe it doesn't fall. The warning is just an indication of a random death that can occur with the small telescope if you ignore the warning. 

The meteorite is meant to fall on the sim and kill them. As that does not happen inside the house then I don't think the meteorite is supposed to fall anymore. It's like you would instruct the sim to clean a puddle that isn't there anymore.
