Missing Content from Expansion Pack

I tried opening a case about this and the chat agent was unable to help and advised I post here, so I'm really hoping to find answers. 

I purchased the Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack on April 18th, which was advertised to come with the extra Set Up Shop Digital Content (3 items) if purchased by April 18th. When I opened the game after downloading I could not find any of those extra items in the build menu, only the regular pack items are there. I have tried on multiple occasions, even after the most recent game update, still no items. It's like I was given the version of the pack that is now available and not the pre-order version that I paid for. 

If this needs to be posted elsewhere or I need to contact EA in a different way, please advise how as it is incredibly difficult to get a hold of someone to get this sorted.

    Unfortunately the Set Up Shop digital content was only available through April 17.

    Until generally includes the date mentioned. Promos also said "by the 18th" which also means through that date to any other business I've ever used that has sales. The official Sims YouTube video, which is linked to on the sale page, also says "through" the 18th. I highly disagree customers should have the understanding that the content ended after the 17th.

    Has an actual  EA representative responded to this issue?

    Like I said earlier, YouTube uses the word "through," so hopefully you can see the confusion. It's frustrating when the language used by EA isn’t consistent, and it seems unreasonable to expect customers to carefully analyze every promotional message to decipher the end date (especially when they are apparently contradictory).

    I also spoke with another chat agent who confirmed that I should have received the extra items when placing my order on the 18th. Based on that, it doesn't seem like I misunderstood.

    We cannot assist with missing content in any way over the forums I'm afraid.

    To my knowledge the Set Up Shop Digital Content offer ended at 0500 UTC on the 18th, if you purchased the Businesses and Hobbies EP before that time an advisor at Help.ea.com should be able to assist.
