It would be lit if we could have a flat/apartment above a shop. Maybe we could even make a highstreet where we could make multiple different types of shops, all with houses above.
It would also be lit if we could make our own takeway shops, like a chicken shop.
I would love to know if this is possible as I have heard the coding of sims 4 is like building a house on sharp rocks. So I understand if it’s difficult, but in nba 2K 25 you can go to a number of different stores, like Nike, Jordan etc, you can play basketball with way more npcs than in is possible in sims all with better graphics and for cheaper than one expansion pack in the sims 4.
I dunno, I’m not a game developer so I don’t claim to know just how difficult it is to make a whole life simulator, but as a consumer… if I brought a toaster that can toast one piece of bread then I saw that all other toaster supplies sell toasters that can toast 2 slices of bread I would probably take it back to the store and buy a different toaster…. especially if the more pieces of toast I brought to put in the toaster would cause my toaster to struggle functioning (like with every DLC, it makes it glitch more and more)
I have been blindly buying packs, knowing from experience that it’s likely to be a big disappointment due to bugs, the lack of ambition (only 6 rental units / not multi purpose/ can’t hide rooms, only set it as shared) but I think, especially in these difficult Financial Times that I might just wait until I can be sure that I am getting my moneys worth.
Unfortunately I play on console (ps5) so I can’t get mods and cc so I’m stuck with whatever the dlc EA sells. But the fact that there more in depth mods than expansion packs that function and get updated faster than official EA packs makes me feel a bit cheated out my money….. I like the fact that you’ve started working with cc creators/ YouTubers to help us get some more packs of what we actually want. But I feel like there could be a whole lot more / more frequently . I would love a kit of Afro hair styles (I would buy hundreds fr)
Maybe with the EA surverys you could make a hundred or so ideas for kit ideas (with a poster/ list of items) and we could click on all the ones we would buy. If you sold them for £2.50 instead I’m sure people would buy 20 of them.
