100% agree. I don't mind fake houses as background decor, but I absolutely detest when they put tons of them in the middle of the world. It just emphasises the flaws with the Sims 4 and makes it feel like a set or a ghost town, even if they were just rabbitholes that you could click on and go into that would make it SO much better and make it feel so much more alive.
They also need to tweak the amount of sims that walk past with these worlds, a busy town centre needs lots of sims walking about. If you make the playable area bigger you also need to up the amount of sims that walk around.
I'll never forget about this situation in Evergreen Harbor (the circled buildings are the functional ones, the rest are all fake and unusable)
