NEW IDEA: building a mini loft by just one floor

The idea is just that simple and I've seen many simulation game have it now, let player build mini loft which doesn't require building a second floor. The raise platform funtion in the game now won'...

@Kerrbearsmile1Would adding half a second floor with short wall height give a similar effect to what you're looking for? You could even do it inside an A frame roof, rather than add a second full wall height.

    @PipMenace I'm not sure. I've only recently returned to Sims (last played the original). I tried adding a 2nd floor, creating a room, and adding stairs but was unsuccessful. I suspect I need more practice. I had to walk away from it for a while and ponder another solution. I'll try this. Thank you!
