Are you able to click on them to clean them up?
I think it's a throwback to previous games (particularly Sims 2), where you would literally have dozens of bottles left all over the floor and it was complete chaos. - PipMenace3 years agoHero@s3rlrules It’s supposed to be part of the game, making babies and infants more of a challenge. Which the community has been asking for for years. Honestly, pets are the same - they poop, you have to clean it up.
So you can’t just poof the diaper anymore, you have to have your Sim clean up (or hire a maid… or just drag-and-drop yourself… or yes, spend money on a DLC to get a shortcut like the changing table, laundry basket, Bonehilda, a butler, a servo, etc). - 3 years ago@s3rlrules People have literally been begging for this sort of thing for a long while now.
And you don't hafta spend money to get rid of them 🤦♀️ You have your Sim throw the dirty ones out or you drag it - no extra needed.- troshalom3 years agoSeasoned Ace
The problem with "people have been begging for this" is that the people who did not ask for tedious tasks to be added to the game have their games forever changed. There should be a toggle switch for people who want harder/tedious play and for those of us, who were quite happy with the diapers going poof before.

@s3rlrules , you can what @thefailedbeta mentioned and use your cursor to click on the diapers and bottles and put them in the trash instantly! This feature is only in the Sims 4 (and is in the base game), and those of us who played earlier versions of the game desperately wanted something like this as a quality of life improvement!😅
@thefailedbeta was correct in mentioning how problematic this was in the Sims 2! Baby bottles (especially with Smart Milk) were everywhere in that game, and you couldn't handle it yourself, so you had to direct your Sims to pick it up and dispose of it. But they would often miss the carpool when they did things like that, and then they would miss work for the day, and sometimes get fired! Then they would be in too bad of a mood when they got back from work so they would refuse to clean up! If your Sims had enough money they could hire a maid, but not all Sim could afford that unless you used money cheats.
So you don't really have to buy the Growing Together Expansion Pack in order to easily clean up the mess from the diapers and bottles! The game already has a way of handling that and it is totally free! 🙌💖
