Office / Big Business

I would love an EP where I can make my own big company office as a new lot type like small businesses then you could select a recording studio company , a law firm, a game development office or even a call center etc

You could make a building with some IT rooms and you could click on each computer to hire an employee. You could select activities that they would do on that computer throughout the day (which you could set business opening times to be 9-5 etc). E.g. you could hire someone to sit and research at a computer , make presentations, write reports etc throughout their work day. You could do the same with over 100 computers so you could simulate a large office. You should be able to edit in Cas the employees so you can choose what they look like and even play them. 

You could have a set lunch time and be able to select a cafeteria where employees would go and eat during lunch/ have a break room. Or stressed or depressed sims could eat at their desk. 

To incorporate different business types you could also select other activities like for a recording studio you could choose some employees to be producing tracks, playing instruments , recording , mixing , etc. 

You could have some employees be security guards and chose their daily actions to be watching monitors / screens etc, or patrolling the office.

You could also have the option to make meeting rooms and select a time and which employees would attend that meeting. In the meeting they would all sit around a desk and you could select which sims should give presentation.

You could select a sims level in the company , e.g. are they a level 1 intern or are they a level 5 supervisor. You could have some sims have their own office with walls and others with partitions. 

You could have unique options like an hr department and you could set some sims to have meetings with hr for their actions or they could complain about working conditions or discrimination etc.

You could play as the owner of the business to hire and fire employees or request them to stay late to work on project. You could have an assistant and set a desk for then nearby. You could have a daily calendar where you could select the activities you would be doing that day. 

You could have staff party options; employees being late to work. Office drama/ gossip. People getting in trouble for having office romances. People pulling office pranks. 

You could have employment relationship dynamics so when a sim sees your sim who’s the boss out in the world they would have sterile conversations with them etc. Or be embarrassed if they were drunk in a bar or something.

Don’t know if this would work cause there would be a lot of sims on a lot but it would be lit cause I made an office but it’s not really functional and mostly empty cause I can only a limited number of sims to come with the small businesses. 

You could select a uniform for employees to wear or have the option to select each sims uniform individually, cause if you wear a suit you would want everyone wearing the same suit cause it would look weird.

You could have the option to play as a working sim so you could work as your sim not just a rabbit hole career. Your sim would get paid for being at work. 

You could have the option to separate a building to different departments like accounting, legal, creative etc so a sims job title could be level 5 supervisior, accountant , insert company name” or level 1 intern, paralegal insert company name so when you meet sims in a general legal career it would still register that you’re in the same profession / when lots have certain requirements like you have to be in law career.

You could seperate departments like in for rent and small businesses. You could set the big boss / ceo office, a section for legal , for marketing, creative, music production for hr etc. You could select one room to be the manager of legals office within it. 

Build mode items could include office items like partitions, office printers/ copiers, water cooler,  desk phones, projectors for presentations, coffee machine, motivational posters, reception desk , punch in station, security scanners that sims would have a key card to enter. Elevators. 

Cas mode items could involve new suits / work clothes. You could have new headsets for call center options. And security guard uniform/ receptionist. We need ties as a seperate option with lots of new designs so we could make everyone look different. 

You could have a wear a colourful tie day or have sims get in trouble for wearing a colourful tie or socks etc. 

Lot traits could be, dream job where all sims are happy at landing their dream job/ being well paid. Or tense atmosphere because it’s a stressful job.  Collaborative culture where sims are happy to discuss ideas with each other. Or secure facility if it’s a government building with high security. Or inefficient bureaucracy if it’s a government building.

I know this would probably never happen because it’s tuff to code in all that, but if it did.
