Okay why aren't Sims smart?

The constant phone calls also drives me crazy. On a similar note, whenever a townie unexpectedly comes over to my Sims' home for a visit... even when they are at work!

No matter how stupid they are ...I still want cars. 

There's a lot of idiots in the real world that drive....I Want to like your post...but you said no cars! 😑😜

The thing is you have to make them smart when I get my Sims up and I mean every Sim I get them to go to bathroom, shower, brush teeth every morning like a routine even if they don't have to use it or shower I do it constantly. I heard through the grapevine that if you keep doing a routine over and over the Sims will pick up and do the routine themselves now I'm not sure I haven't tested it. Same thing with the newborn, infants and toddlers I have a routine and it works for me. I'm trying to fit bathing the infants and toddlers before going to bed and turning on the radio with lullaby. So a routine you want your Sims doing and add another so they will be busy instead of that obsession. 

I asked ChatGPT why Sims aren't smart and it actual gave me a legit answer: Because if they were smart there would be no reason to play. Think about it, if Sims were smart enough to take care of their needs and take care of themselves efficiently, then our role as the player becomes invalid. That actually makes sense. So the lights being on but no one being home is exactly how EA designed the Sims. 

Also something about costing more for smarter AI. I don't know what means but yeah. 

Also they are just silly and chaotic. If they were smarter then all that silliness and chaos would be reduced or go away completely, and I personally wouldn't like that.  Now while it would be nice to reduce some of the autonomous actions like them putting plates on half walls and the pets not being so needy, it really is a chaotic and funny game simply because the Sims AREN'T smart.
