Age

I understand that The Sims already has designated life stages such as infant, toddler, child, teen, young adult, adult, and elder. I also realize that age is more of a descriptive range rather than an exact number (for example, “child” typically being ages 5–12). However, I wanted to suggest a feature that could add a bit more personalization—especially for console players.

What if, when selecting a life stage, players could also choose a specific numerical age within that category? For example, if you choose “adult,” you could set your Sim’s age to something like 34. I’m not sure if this would defeat the purpose of the current life-stage system, but I think it could add an extra layer of realism and customization.

This would be especially helpful for players who create Sims based on real people or specific storylines, where an exact age matters. It wouldn’t change how aging works overall, but it could give players more control over their Sim’s identity and backstory. I think something like this would be a really cool optional feature.
