Open up neighborhood versions

Open up neighborhood and it is a choice

I have come to a understanding that the sims 4 is made for users on other platforms and for older computers.

but the gamers like my self that have bought a gaming pc.. I wish to play sims 4 like how it looks like we are supposed to be able to play it. With open neighbourhoods (not world). The map of the worlds says it all. And it would be fun to interact with the neighbours as it looks like we suppose to be doing.

would also be nice to open the stage lots so we can build on them.

  • Everytime i see the objects inside a build of a neighbor lot i wonder why we can't have open neighborhoods if everything is already there.

  • Hi! Idk if this is potentially possible at all, but I thought it would be a cool concept.

I know sims 4 got rid of open world and went back to load out screens for different locations, however, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it semi “open world” for the towns/villages your in! Example: if you’re in Willow Creek, and you reside in Foundry Corner - foundry corner would be open world, but if you wanted to say go to new crest, or even a different neighborhood in willow creek, you’d load out. Doing this would make it easier and faster (and better gameplay, honestly) to travel from lot to lot. In addition, I think more interactive worlds would be nice! (Ie, like the movie theater or the amusement park - the backdrop houses and buildings are boring - I’d like for my sim to be able to do much more without constant load out screens!)

    thank you!

  • Open world won't be possible because i heard it froze or even crash in The Sims 3 while playing the game and The Sims 4 can run slow at times, especially if you have more than 200 sims so that won't be an option

But maybe an open neighbourhood will be possible?

I want less loading screen too so it could be a win-win

Lot type which your sim lives in won't be possible but open community lots should be possible in my opinion!

And residental rental lot shouldn't have loading screens neither because its in 1 lot

    What do you think?

When I played sims 3 I played on a (older)gaming pc and never had the problem with crashing or freezing. Tho I think I did not play on the “best” settings to make it work as smooth as possible because I knew I was not playing on a top tier gaming pc at that time.

Nice ideas you come with :)

if I where EA I would make this matter optional for players. So if you are on a gaming pc (like myself) that we could decide our self with mode we would play on.

the perfect list of optional would be:
option 1: like it is now. That would suit players on most consoles and older laptops.

option 2: like it is now + open full lot on for rent. That I think would be suited for newer consoles and better average laptops.

option 3: open neighbourhood would fit for most gaming pc and gaming laptops

option 4: open world option for them with good enough gaming pc.

it would be a dream if EA did this!

i mostly panic when my post is merged elsewhere (except when i ask them myself) someone should reminds me to calm down lol🤣🤣

consider yourself lucky the game didn't crashed on you in The Sims 3 haha😅😅

i love your ideas too, probably better than mine hehe😊😊

the team should make things optional with huge improvement for better gaming pc's like you said😁😁

i never thought of it this way but i love your ideas based on each pc's and non pc's😊😊
